    Online Surrender Contract

    You agree to and hereby relinquish all rights, dominion, and ownership of the bird listed below and release said bird to the care and ownership of Arizona Exotic Bird Rescue, Inc. from this day forth.  Said organization is given full claim and control of the bird.  This agreement is fully understood and signed without any external persuasion, or coercion from, anyone related to, or working on the behalf of, Arizona Exotic Bird Rescue, Inc.

    IMPORTANT: The support donation [surrender donation] anticipated is based on the care and maintenance each exotic bird requires. For example, an Umbrella Cockatoo that plucks requires a more extensive medical exam, costing more than a bird that requires a standard ‘Healthy Bird Exam.’  We can also anticipate that the exotic bird will take considerably longer to adopt to a suitable home or may be one of our ‘life-care’ birds. Your support of our charitable organization is essential to the exotic birds in our care. We depend entirely on donations. 100% of the funds donated go to our effort to improve the quality of life of our exotic birds. No salaries or compensation are paid to our all-volunteer staff. None of the goods or medical services we utilize are donated or discounted. We leave the amount up to you. We simply ask that you give to help us to continue to provide outstanding avian support. Please make checks or money orders payable to Arizona Exotic Bird Rescue, Inc. Cash is acceptable. In the event you cannot offer financial assistance please notify us in advance ,as this can affect our ability to accept your exotic bird. Your contribution can, and does, makes a difference!
    In the event you elect to make your donation using a credit card, please do so in advance of the surrender of the bird. You may also donate through PayPal directly to cscarberry@arizonaexoticbirdrescue.org. We thank you for your help and welcome your bird.
    PLEASE NOTE: Exotic birds surrendered due to financial hardship are accepted, with each case being evaluated against our financial ability to care for, without the expectation of a monetary contribution. You can help us by attempting to find a sponsor for your bird. Due to the decline of the economy that has impacted all of us, it has become necessary to seek financial assistance when available. We will work with you during these difficult times.
